"Thank You for Your Viewer Survey Responses!"
TV199 recently conducted an online survey asking viewers for their feedback to our channel's programming--what do you enjoy the most, what new content might you like to see and how might we improve our services. Most viewers indicated a desire for more information about city services and events. Others voiced dismay at not receiving TV199 any longer on their analog cable tier with Bright House Networks, while many expressed not knowing when our programs could be viewed, or the many ways available to view them (for example, our 24/7 web streaming and online video on demand services).
This is all great feedback, and while we acknowledge your frustration with Bright House Networks (we have no local control over their programming tiers), we have already started bringing you more local information about city programs, services and events in the form of local public service announcements (PSA's), promotional/informational spots, and our ever-growing library of TV199 NewsBriefs! As for when you can catch your favorite show, we are working on several new ways that will get the word out regarding our programming line-up and corresponding time slots.
For starters, here are the TV199 program times for the City of Palm Coast Council and the City of Flagler Beach Commission Meetings (our two most popular programs):
COPC Council Meetings -- Watch "Live" on the first Tuesday (6:30 p.m.) and third Tuesday (9:00 a.m.) of each month. Replays are every Thursday at 5:00 pm and every Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
Flagler Beach Commission Meetings (held the second and fourth Thursdays of each month and taped for rebroadcast) – Replays are on TV199 every Monday at 6:00 p.m. and every Wednesday at 8:00 a.m.
Finally, survey respondents were surprised at the variety of programming presented on TV199. From full coverage of local press conferences, seminars, parades, ribbon-cuttings, concerts and community events, to bringing the world (and beyond) to your living room with the NASA Channel, Pentagon Channel, Nature Wise Florida, EcoNews, the Vintage Vehicle Show, environmental documentaries and a continuing diverse line-up of public affairs informational programs.
Saving the best for last, other TV199 in-house programs include the local Palm Coast Mayor's Show, "Our Town" and Flagler County Public Schools Show, "Focus on Youth", and additional local-origination programming is in development.
We pride ourselves on programs that are uniquely specialized, and whose content will be found in few other places….thanks everyone, for your support and interest in Palm Coast Municipal Access Television, we invite you to discover our distinctive programming..."We're Here for You!"
