AWARDS/PROGRAMMING 2011 was a great year for our station. Not only did we surpass the 1,000th show placed on our server since we began in 2007, (combined programs produced both in-house, 35% and imported from other sources, 65%) but we were honored to receive national recognition for our programming. TV199 received three distinguished awards for 2011 from the 32nd Annual Telly Awards and the 17th Annual Communicator Awards:

  • Gold Communicator Award of Excellence for the "Intracoastal Cleanup 2010" (Environmental, film/video category).
  • Silver Communicator Award of Distinction for "Green Ways Partnerships" (Environmental, film/video category).
  • Bronze Telly Award for the "Palm Coast Joyride" (Special Event film/video category).

The Telly Awards honor the best local and regional cable television programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for Communications Professionals and is governed by The International Academy of Visual Arts. The Award of Excellence is given to those entries whose ability to communicate puts them among the best in the field. The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and achievement.

VOLUNTEERS/INTERNS We couldn't bring you all this great local programming without generous assistance from our talented pool of volunteers and student interns, so if you have an interest in learning any aspect of our operations, field productions or find yourself destined to appear as on-camera talent (!), then come discover the fun opportunities we have for you, right here in Palm Coast!

PARTNERSHIPS Palm Coast Municipal Access TV199 is governed by an interlocal partnership between the Cities of Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, the Flagler County School Board and Daytona State College. In 2010 the City Council of Palm Coast approved a Memorandum of Understanding between TV199 and Matanzas High School's TV production classes, thus opening opportunities to share resources and talent. Last fall we recorded live-to-tape the area's first full coverage Friday Night Football game – it was Matanzas High School's Homecoming and the Pirates won in dramatic fashion. Watch for these talented students when we are out covering area events such as parades and concerts!

More Milestones January 2, 2012 marked a special occasion for us – we celebrated our 5th Anniversary providing award-winning video to residents. We pride ourselves on programs that are uniquely specialized, and whose content will be found in few other places….thanks everyone, for your support and interest in Palm Coast Municipal Access Television, we invite you to discover our distinctive programming..."We're Here for You!"

Cable Franchise Subscriber Complaints

Have a complaint about your Bright House service, monthly bill or Bright House's handling of a cable-related problem? You may submit your complaint by calling the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services. Go online to http://www.freshfromflorida.com/consumer.html, or call 1-800 HELP-FLA (435-7352).

The Florida Legislature passed the Consumer Choice Act of 2007 which vests the authority for cable customer service complaints with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in Tallahassee starting July 1, 2009.

Previously, local municipalities and counties may have had an office or department dedicated to cable or video service customer complaints. However, as of July 1, 2009, the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services now has the sole authority to respond to all cable or video service customer complaints under Sec. 610.108 of the Florida Statutes.

Palm Coast Municipal Access TV199 is governed by an interlocal partnership between the Cities of Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, the Flagler County School Board and Daytona State College.
